E-portfolio

 

I'm Abidah and lives in Kedah. I study in MRSM Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang for 5 years. Then, I pursue my studies in Bachelor in halal management in Darul Quran, JAKIM. Currently, I am majoring in Bachelor of Islamic Education at IIUM.

I have 11 siblings and I am the second last. My sisters were all married already leaving me being the only daughter in my family. In fact, I still have brothers living with me.

I am an ambivert person since I have to struggle a lot making the first move to be friends with strangers. But, once they became my friends, I can be the craziest girl that they have ever had in their lives.

I think I have an ability in skills related to IT like editing videos and pictures. However, I am still at the amateur level but those editing videos and pictures were my forte.

Other than that, I think I am very capable of making people in comfort because of my high level of empathy. Sometimes, just hearing others problems will make me teary before them. I guess that was one of my other ability.

During my teenage, I used to be an athlete in sports. But my skills start to deteriorate a bit when I am grown-ups due to my lack of calcium problem.

Finally, I also have experience in English debating during high school. So, until now, I still have the basic in debating but still as an amateur level and still needs more practices.

- I was one the vice of Multimedia exco for Language Club in my 3rd semester of diploma.

- I also have experience being a sponsorship exco for Khatam Quran's event that been verified by JAKIM's director.

- I have experience being a sponsor exco in handling a community service programme for my course mate in Teluk Batik, Perak.

- I was one of the peers in high school.

- I joined leadership training when I am in form 5

- I joined a drama competition interstate when I am in form 4.

- I use to join story-telling when I was in form 3.

- I joined the English debate when I am in form 1.

Here is my poster with my friends on the title "Hikmah".

As you can see there, we inserted dalil from Quran about how powerful was the wisdom that Allah granted to His servants. 

We can get lots of good effect by understanding the wisdom of trial very well like mentioned in the poster.

I learn a lot during my Usrah sessions. My mentor always gives very thoughtful sharings where helps me a lot in analyzing things about life. She taught us to prioritise what important like fulfil our duties to parents and studies.

I also get to learn more about editing skills since we are assigned to edit a poster by a group.

My mentor also taught me not to judge people by their appearance, instead of caring for ourselves first.

USRAH 2

Alhamdulillah, and I appreciate having sister Maliha as my naqibah this semester. She did an excellent job of portraying a nice akhlaq and was always pleasant. Despite the fact that we lived in two different countries, with sister Maliha in Kashmir and us in Malaysia, she always went out of her way to make our usrah beautiful.

I pray for an eternal blessing for her and her family for being a noble human while spreading good knowledge to us.

During our usrah, I learned a lot about being confident in front of others and always respecting other people's opinions. As with the poster above, our group decided to offer our usrah with a fandom theme. 

We attempted to demonstrate the laws of admiration by demonstrating that people cannot criticise the interests of others. We cannot expect people to like exactly what we like because we must recognise that humans are a diverse species. 

Others should respect their choices and interests since they have them. Because having a variety of personalities is what makes humans unique.
